I thought I heard Neil Young say it before playing Ohio in some live recording. You might be right though, and I just confused my anti-Vietnam songs.

It was Country Joe, at Woodstock...The drummer moved to Albuquerque and would occasionally show up and sit in with the band I was playing with.
Everyone thought it was cool, we even did a couple of Gimme a....
